How to Prepare & Build a Timber Shed Base

• Location: Pick a level spot with good drainage, away from trees, and make sure you can access all sides for future maintenance.
• Check the Area: Clear debris, check for drainage issues, and level the ground.
• Equipment: You’ll need a shovel, rake, ground tamper, tape measure, spirit level, pegs or builder’s line, and protective clothing.
• Level the Ground: Use a shovel, rake, and ground tamper to get a flat surface. We recommend with adding a weed membrane underneath to prevent vegetation and grass growth. Adding gravel helps drainage and stability.
• Assemble the Base: Follow the instructions and secure the frame with a hammer.
